Monday Made It

I'm so excited to post my first Monday Made It! I always see the amazing ideas other teachers post on their blogs, Pinterests, and Instagrams so I'm excited to be a part of it!

My weekend revolved around my classroom even though my students don't arrive for another week. I shopped for my classroom, I planned for my classroom, I organized things for my classroom, and of course I made things for my classroom.

One of the more popular things I've seen all over the online teacher community is the Teacher Toolbox. If you know me at all you know I'm obsessed with organization and anything that helps me to do that always makes me ecstatic. So I had to go out to Lowe's and buy my Teacher Toolbox. It started off looking something like this:
Boring, plain and something that most people just store nails and washers in. But thanks to the world of Pinterest and my colored printer I ended up with this:
It's already sitting on my desk and I love it! Not only does it look beautiful (in my opinion) but it's so functional! You can take the little drawers out and move them with you. I loved being able to take the whole thumbtack drawer out and bring it to the other side of the room where I needed it. Then, I just slid it back in when I was done. Genius! I'm looking forward to filling it up and getting lots of use out of it this year.
